Course content
• Knowledge of appropriate tack and equipment for dressage competition
• Mastery of braiding and mane/tail maintenance for a polished appearance
• Ability to present horse and rider in a professional manner during inspections
• Understanding of dressage rules and regulations regarding turnout
• Knowledge of proper attire for both horse and rider in competition
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming and tack areas
• Skill in preparing horse and rider for competition day, including warm-up routines
• Understanding of how turnout can impact judges' perception of performance in the ring
• Ability to troubleshoot and address any last-minute grooming or tack issues before entering the competition arena
